Paris, May 31st 2005 - European cycle on Innovation: Health/Food and SMEs participation in the 6th Framework Programme

Within a European cycle on Innovation, the French Ministries of Research (MRNT) and Agriculture (MAAPR) and the National Contact Points (NCP) for Priority 1 " Life sciences, genomics and biotechnology for health " (APHP), for Priority 5 " Food Quality and Safety " (INRA) and for SMEs (OSEO anvar) organize:

on Tuesday, the 31st of May 2005 (9 a.m. - 6 p.m.)

a European information and partnering event on:

Life sciences and SMEs participation
to the 4th and last FP6 calls for proposals

with European Commission representatives (Research DG).

The morning plenary session will be dedicated to the presentation of the 4th calls in Priority 1 (539 M € , including about 171 M € dedicated to SME-STREPs) and in Priority 5 (125 M € ), as well as a general overview on former calls, feedbacks from running projects and presentation of FP7 main orientations.

As the number of participants will be limited, please register before May 16th 2005 (registration is free but compulsory ).

Specific information on workshop 1:

To present your project under preparation and your partner search (5 min), please download the powerpoint model and send it back (duly filled out in English) to Annabelle Diéval, before May 16th 2005. About 20 projects will be presented during the session, after being validated by a selection committee.

Face-to-face meeting will be organised to help you to find partners.

- as a project leader looking for new partners (running projects or idea of project): please download your thematic partner search form and send it to Annabelle Diéval, before May 16th 2005:

- as a SME willing to get involved in a project: projects presented during the session will be compiled into a catalogue, available on Eurosfaire website on May, the 18th. To benefit from a personal face-to-face meetings planning, participants registered in workshop 1 will receive a specific form to be sent back before May 24th.
