is organizing an Info-day in close cooperation with the NEST-Unit.The event will take place in Brussels on January 14th, 2005 (9:30 - 18:00). It will concentrate on NEST OPEN: ADVENTURE, INSIGHT, SUPPORT and the Brokerage Event on NEST-Pathfinder.

During the event, relevant information about the NEST programme will be presented, in particular concerning the coming calls FP6-2004-NEST-C1, FP6-2004-NEST-C2 and FP6-2004-NEST-PATH that will be launched in November/December 2004. Furthermore, a presentation of success stories will help the potential proposers to elaborate their proposals.

è Programme

In the afternoon, participants will have the choice to attend one of 4 parallel sessions: three of them for PATHFINDER initiatives (Synthetic Biology, What it means to be human, Measuring the impossible) and the other one for NEST OPEN activities.

In each session it is intended to present all the project ideas brought by participants; then a poster session will follow and participants will have the possibility of contacting both Scientific Officers and NEST NCPs.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR PARTICIPANTS:

1 - The event is confirmed; there is more than 70 participants pre-registred;
2 - Participants will have to cover their travel and accommodation expenses.
